Michael Sabeh joined the GLOBAL project in 2015 as a PhD student working under Dr. Benjamin Mimee at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Canada. His project is focused in large part on comparing transcriptomic data from different Globodera species and pathotypes to understand host preference.

Michael received a BS in Microbiology from the University of Sherbrooke. During this period, he worked as an intern at AAFC, investigating genes involved with Globodera hatching process. He then enrolled in a MS program and was promoted to PhD candidate at Institut de Recherche en Biologie Végétale in University of Montreal.
