Lindsay Schulz is completing a PhD degree in Entomology at the University of Idaho. She joined the GLOBAL project in August 2021 to work on researching the impact of bioactive compounds from Solanum sisymbriifolium on Globodera pallida. Her previous research focused on the impact of land use on aquatic insects and water quality.

Lindsay received her BS in Biology in 2015, and later received her MS in Cultural and Environmental Resource Management in 2020 both from Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington. Prior to joining the University of Idaho as a graduate student, she served as a drought response specialist for Washington State Department of Ecology during the 2015 drought, as a research assistant at the Pace International Plant Pathology lab where she helped research post-harvest fungal diseases, and as a teaching assistant in the Biology Department at Central Washington University while obtaining her MS.
